The Future of CPG (Cannabis Packaged Goods).

ROYAL CO

Royal High was a premium, craft, cannabis brand struggling to find its footing with all the limitations of legalization. A crafted flower product, shackled by a misrepresented brand and name. It tried to embrace premium in the most traditional sense; lavish, lush, ornate and opulent, but it wasn’t connecting with the luxe cannabis consumer.

Royal High didn’t understand who their consumer was and what “luxe” meant to them. They had an identity crisis which needed help in re-positioning and re-shaping their brand and its presence in the market.

We helped the brand redefine “Royal” in an age of premium wellness. We leveraged pieces of the existing equity associated with product (and the brand) and elevated it to connect with our core consumers and created an opportunity to invite others in. We changed the name – from Royal High to Royal Co -- inspired by the beauty, richness, and simplicity of the natural world.

Royal Co eschews the fussy, artificial, and ornate in favour of premium, purposeful minimalism. It embodied craftsmanship over decadence and exceptional experience over excessive self-gratification. Never an escape from life, Royal Co inspired consumers to embrace a life well lived.
